Sarah Wild

Sarah Wild is a DJ and producer based in Berlin, where she first became known for hosting underground raves. Her sets move between acid basslines and piano.

She was born and raised in Jena, a city in the former East Germany with an electronic music scene of its own, which she joined first as a dancer. Her father toured with his surf rock band and took her along, so she grew up backstage in clubs and venues across Europe. She learned saxophone and piano, encouraged by her grandmother, a singing teacher, and played in bands and jazz projects throughout her youth.

She started her solo project in 2016 and has released on Permanent Vacation, Feines Tier, Correspondant, Return to Forever and Dessert, as well as on her own label, Midnight Operators. She has toured Europe, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala and the United States.
